Your larger clients and suppliers are asking for sustainability data. We help you understand what they need, collect it accurately, and respond with confidence.
Why This Matters Now
Since 2024, large EU companies are legally required to report detailed environmental and social data under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Crucially, that reporting must cover their supply chains — which means they need data from their Irish SME suppliers.
This isn't a distant regulatory concern. Requests are already landing on the desks of suppliers to large retailers, food processors, construction firms, and logistics companies across Ireland. Often they arrive as a spreadsheet or questionnaire with a short deadline and no explanation of how to fill it in correctly.
Businesses that can respond accurately — with properly calculated emissions figures, documented data, and the right format — stay ahead. Those who can't risk losing contracts or being de-listed from approved supplier lists.
What We Offer
No jargon. No unnecessary complexity. Sized for a small business. All prices exclude VAT.
Not sure what you're being asked for, or whether your business is even in scope? This assessment maps your current position against the VSME Basic Module before any data collection begins.
End-to-end preparation of your VSME disclosure — from data collection and emissions calculation through to the completed EFRAG digital template your customer needs.
Keep your disclosure current year-on-year. We update your figures, refresh your report, and flag any regulatory changes that affect your obligations.
Why Musgrave Environmental
A background in analytical chemistry and regulated laboratory environments means the data we produce is accurate, traceable, and documented to a standard that holds up to scrutiny — not just good enough to pass a quick glance.
Direct research experience in Irish farm-level natural capital accounting gives us a practical understanding of agricultural supply chains — dairy, beef, and tillage — that most sustainability consultants simply don't have.
Large sustainability firms are structured for large clients. We work exclusively with SMEs, which means our processes, pricing, and communication are proportionate to the size and capacity of your business.
Between MSc-level study in sustainable cities policy and active involvement in environmental research, we stay current on CSRD, VSME, and the EFRAG technical guidance — so you don't have to.
